Poolside with the PHI VILLA 15 ft Patio Umbrella

Summer means fun in the Sun, but you can have too much of a good thing… and the Sun is no different.  When it’s time to take a break from direct sunlight a good umbrella is a must have.   I purchased the PHI VILLA 15 foot umbrella earlier this summer and here are my thoughts.

The PHI VILLA 15 foot Patio Umbrella was shipped mostly assembled.  Putting the base of the umbrella together was most of the work.  The polyester base cover houses two oxford bags you have to fill with sand.  Three 50 lb bags of sand did the trick for us.  Trust me, this umbrella isn’t going anywhere with over 120 pounds of sand in the base. The umbrella folds pretty easy when cranked shut.

The coated steel pole, alloy steel crank handle, and 100% polyester canopy all feel really high quality.  

We decided to set up our PHI VILLA umbrella by our pool where the Sun can be intense most of the day.  This patio umbrella is impressive when fully opened.  You get lots of shade and pretty good visibility.  We chose the beige color option, which in my opinion, is a perfect balance of UV Sun protection while not making you feel like you’re indoors, like some darker color options.  Again, this is personal preference.  PHI VILLA provides a blue and dark red color option.

Whether it’s by your pool, in your backyard, or on the patio I recommend the PHI VILLA umbrella.
